Luxembourg leads rail investment
Luxembourg came out on top of a list of European countries and their respective rail investment per capita. In 2022, Luxembourgish authorities spent 575 euros per citizen for railway maintenance purposes. By comparison, Germany’s rail network, which often prided itself as the envy of much of the world, had only seen 114 euros per citizen invested.
